Application Process

To be accepted by the Ministry of Education and Science in Bulgaria, all documents must be legalized in their country of origin, certified by the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and translated into Bulgarian. Application Process

To apply for a Master’s program in Bulgaria, your previous diploma must first be recognized by an accredited institution affiliated with the university of interest. This step requires an additional fee.

During the recognition phase, the university will contact the institution that issued your higher education diploma to verify your academic record. This includes confirming your credits and completed subjects. The process usually takes about one month, depending on how quickly your previous university responds.

Once your diploma is successfully recognized, your application will be forwarded to the Ministry of Education and Science of Bulgaria for final approval. This step also takes approximately one month. After approval, the university will issue an official acceptance letter.
